Existing problems: 1. The binding quality of the binding belt machine is unstable, and the tension of the binding belt needs to be adjusted frequently, resulting in the production suspension; 2. The packing belt cannot stabilize the strength of the carton, but can only be bound or reinforced. The carton is often damaged during transportation, leading to product damage or reimbursement; 3. The cost of packing and sealing is high and not environmentally friendly.
Due to the above problems, the factory decided to try ITW Dyn a tec hot melt adhesive equipment. After the test, the hot melt adhesive was sprayed onto the inner page of the carton with a manual spray gun to make it bond with the outer page of the carton to complete the sealing process. A total of 20 cartons and the same products were sent to the factory for inspection after 1000 kilometers. The cartons of 20 hot melt adhesive sealed cartons were completed, while the cartons of the old type sealed cartons were damaged.
After this test, the factory has agreed on the way of sealing the box with hot melt adhesive, but also raised a problem of cost control of hot melt adhesive. The amount of glue used by people is too large and it is difficult to control the amount of glue and spray pattern, and the purpose of cost saving has not been achieved (the amount of glue used by people is about 8-10g, which is 0.2 yuan per kg of hot melt adhesive). In order to solve the problem of glue quantity control, the factory changed the manual spray gun into an automatic spray gun, which is controlled by the electric eye and PZC. It is equipped with the production line of Hong Kong Kings Co., Ltd. and connected to the production line department to achieve assembly line production.
The ITW Dyn a fec equipment and its supporting facilities are as follows:
1. Dyn am in i glue sprayer; 1 6-foot nozzle; 1 M od - P lu s 4 head ZP automatic spray gun with 90 ° nozzle Φ 0.015 and fast solenoid valve; 1 set of air filtration and pressure regulating device; 1 PZC glue spraying program controller, S and SICK photoelectric switch; 1 set of Kings TS-4ZP packaging and transportation belt (supporting).
The new process has many advantages:
1. The gluing position, graphics and gluing amount of hot melt adhesive can be set and controlled by yourself.
2. The gluing position, graphics and gluing amount of each box are consistent, which is convenient to distinguish the true from the false and control the cost of hot melt glue for each box.
3. The length, width and height of the packaging and transportation belt can be adjusted, which is suitable for a variety of carton specifications.
4. Reduce the packaging cost. The hot-melt adhesive is used in 2 grams per box, and the cost is about 0.05 yuan per box.
5. The strength of the carton after sealing with hot melt adhesive is greater than that of the packing belt, and the resistance to damage is enhanced.
6. Hot melt adhesive is an environmental protection product, which is suitable for packaging import requirements of any country.
After demonstration, the scheme has been implemented for one year, and the equipment has experienced a long-term 24-hour continuous operation. The packaging box bonded with hot melt adhesive can meet the requirements in transportation throughout China.
It can be seen that using hot melt adhesive to seal the carton can not only strengthen the strength of the carton, but also save production costs and improve the competitiveness of the product.
